Shot List

To put it simply, a shot list helps in the planning and filming - it ensures that all the necessary shots are filmed to avoid missing out key scenes of the film. The video below shows us how to effectively organise and create our shot list:

Video form YouTube. Alternative link, in case the video doesn't work.

The shot list shown in the video was very complex, so to make it easier for me when I film, I narrowed the columns down to: scene, shot, movement, angle and notes:

CONCLUSION
Creating a shot list has enabled me to understand the cinematography that I will be using within the production, and organising the shots beforehand allows me know which camera shots, angles and movement will be involved. Furthermore, using this shot list during the production will allow me to improve or alter any shots - during filming - and thus make my media product more effective.

  2. It is a great shot list that is detailed and will help you when it comes to filming. Perhaps referring to the frame of your storyboard will help you visualise the shot with reference to the big picture.
